to Practical Training on Document Preparation
On May 23, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency announced that it held a 'Policy Fund Information Session' at the Korea SMEs and Startups Training Institute located in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. This session was organized in cooperation with the Small Enterprise and Market Service, targeting around 50 representatives of SMEs and small business owners interested in policy funds. The event aimed to enhance understanding of policy funds and to change the perception among companies that applying for policy funds is difficult and inconvenient, by informing them that anyone can easily access these resources.
The main topics included: ▲Understanding policy funds for SMEs ▲Understanding policy funds for small business owners ▲A new business roundtable, among others. The session provided practical training on the application process for policy funds and how to fill out loan application forms, which many companies find challenging.
The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency is currently working on customer-oriented system improvements, such as simplifying the policy fund application process and required documents. The agency also plans to continuously expand on-site opportunities so that business owners can experience these changes firsthand. Kim Ilho, Director of Corporate Finance, stated, "We hope this information session will help improve business owners' perceptions of policy funds and lower the barriers to entry," and added, "We will strengthen on-site support to ensure that companies can easily apply for policy funds."
