"By experiencing it firsthand, I can truly feel the hard work and challenges on site." Lee Seungro, the mayor of Seongbuk District, has gone beyond the traditional Q&A-style communication and has stepped directly into the daily lives of residents, stating that "the answer lies in the field."

Mayor Lee plans to immerse himself in various field experiences, including working as a sanitation officer, a traditional market vendor, a night-shift convenience store part-timer, a park maintenance worker, and participating in the cleaning of Seongbukcheon. All of these experiences will be documented on YouTube, allowing any resident to watch the mayor's vivid experiences and policy feedback.
Mayor Lee began his field experiences as a sanitation officer on the 15th, and on the 22nd, worked as a vendor in a traditional market, joining workers on site, sharing meals, and listening to their voices. During his experience at Dolgoti Market, he directly assessed the effectiveness of environmental improvement projects and discussed directions for further improvement. On the 23rd, he will work as a convenience store part-timer to experience the realities of youth labor, on the 26th he will serve as a park maintenance worker, and on the 27th he will participate in cleaning Seongbukcheon.
Seongbuk District's "Field Experience of Life" is not just a performance. Mayor Lee emphasized, "I will meticulously inspect all aspects of administration, including employment, the environment, and youth policy, directly in the field, and reflect residents' voices in our policies."
