Although Han Hakja currently has the status of a reference witness, it is known that prosecutors are not ruling out the possibility of changing her status to that of a suspect.

Prosecutors are investigating whether Yoon, the global head of the Unification Church, gave Jeonseongbae a luxury diamond necklace worth around 60 million won and a Chanel bag in 2022, under the pretext of gifts for First Lady Kim Keonhee, while making various requests related to Unification Church matters.

In particular, during the process of examining whether the Unification Church was behind Yoon's requests, it has been reported that prosecutors suspect Han Hakja may have been involved.
