KOTRA Expands Investment Attraction Opportunities in Europe... "Overseas Promotion to Increase"

'K-FEZ Day' Workshop Held

KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) organized an event in Europe, one of Korea's major investment regions, to attract foreign investment.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA held the 'K-FEZ (Korea Free Economic Zone) Day In Europe' in the United Kingdom from May 19 to May 24. This workshop was designed to promote Korea's investment appeal and its free economic zones in the United Kingdom and Germany, which are major European investors in Korea, and to support the formation of a global network for the free economic zone authorities.

The event consisted of several main programs: the Korea-UK Real Estate Investment Attraction Seminar, the Korea-Germany Advanced Industry Roundtable, business consultation sessions with investors, and visits to major investors and related organizations. Officials from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, KOTRA, and the authorities of the Incheon, Ulsan, Busan-Jinhae, Chungbuk, and Gwangyang Bay free economic zones participated in the event.

First, on May 20, the Korea-UK Real Estate Investment Attraction Seminar introduced Korea's excellent investment opportunities to a total of 36 companies in the real estate and financial investment sectors, including Leonard (architecture and design) and Pure Data Center Group (data centers). The program included a joint K-FEZ promotional IR session (covering K-FEZ development status, infrastructure, and industrial clusters), presentations on major real estate projects by each free economic zone authority (such as hotels and silver towns, Ganghwa International City, and tourism and leisure districts), and 23 individual consultations.
