Gachon University to Hold Seongnam Area Public Institution Employment Fair

The Gachon University Career Plus Center will hold the '2025 Seongnam Area Public Institution Employment Fair (SeonggongJOBdam)' on May 27 and 29.

This employment fair has been organized to strengthen connections with local public institutions as a university hub for youth employment support, and to provide a communication channel between local youth and public institutions.

This year's event will feature a total of five public institutions: Korea Foundation of Nuclear Safety, Academy of Korean Studies, Korea District Heating Corporation, Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities, and Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency.

The fair will be conducted in real time online (via ZOOM) from the university's studio, targeting not only current students and graduates but also local youth. Current employees from each institution will participate directly to introduce their organizations, present key projects, share their 2025 recruitment plans and hiring trends, and provide job search strategies and know-how. There will also be a Q&A session to offer practical information.

Local youth interested in participating can apply via a Google Form by the day before the event after receiving guidance from the Seongnam Employment Welfare Plus Center or local university career support institutions.

Choi Hoemyung, head of the Gachon University Career Plus Center, said, "By providing accurate information and supporting the development of effective job search strategies related to recruitment at public enterprises and public institutions preferred by young people, we will continue to contribute to improving the employment rate of local youth."
