"It's Easy to Use"
"Korean Cosmetics Like Apieu Cream and Farmstay Real Are Popular"
Recently in Japan, "free sample vending machines" that offer the latest cosmetics at no cost have been gaining popularity.
According to TBS News in Japan on May 22, the free sample vending machine called "Lofbo," located at Tokyo's "Shibuya Loft," which offers more than 80,000 types of daily goods, has become popular.
At Loft, customers can receive one item from popular cosmetics, such as sunscreen, and since its installation in March, it has attracted significant attention. A customer in her 50s told TBS News, "I tried the sample, liked it, and decided I should purchase the product."
Arashi Yoichi, manager at Loft, explained, "When free samples are handed out directly, it can cause problems such as a shortage of staff, but installing the vending machine has not only attracted people's attention but also proved effective." He added, "At the same time, it has had a positive impact on the number of app subscribers and visitors."
According to the report, the usage method is also simple. After scanning the QR code displayed on the vending machine screen with a smartphone, users only need to enter information such as age and gender. Recently, Korean cosmetics have also been featured. TBS News reported that items such as A'Pieu cream and Farmstay Real Mask Ampoule are popular.
