Korea Investment & Securities announced on May 22 that it is holding the "King Dollar Giveaway Promotion" for BanKIS online financial investment service customers, where up to $30 will be randomly awarded daily.
Until May 30, customers can receive dollar rewards by completing three missions: applying for application push notifications, writing a community post, and purchasing at least one share of US stock. By simply participating in the missions, customers will receive a random amount ranging from $0.10 to $30. The awarded dollars can be used for trading US stocks.
However, any unused awarded amount for stock trading will be reclaimed in bulk on June 13. The event is open to BanKIS customers aged 19 or older who have no record of overseas stock trading between March 1, 2025, and May 17, 2025.
A Korea Investment & Securities representative stated, "This event was designed to provide customers with tangible benefits through easy participation," adding, "We will continue to enhance investment accessibility and satisfaction through a variety of customer-tailored events."
