Easing the Burden of Lunchflation
Three New Burgers, Including Mozzarella in the Burger Bacon, Added
On May 22, Lotteria announced that it will expand the range of menu items offered under its discounted 'Ria Lunch' promotion for lunchtime customers.
The company explained that, as 'lunchflation' has recently intensified and lunchtime spending burdens have increased, it decided to expand the 'Ria Lunch' discount benefits in order to help reduce consumers' lunchtime expenses.
To expand the 'Ria Lunch' lineup, Lotteria conducted a survey among members of its own app, 'Lotte Eats', who had purchased 'Ria Lunch'. According to the product preference survey, the Mozzarella in the Burger Bacon, Classic Cheeseburger, and Double Deli Burger, which were not previously included in 'Ria Lunch', received high response rates. Lotteria plans to add these three burgers to the Ria Lunch lineup and expand the discount benefits by offering them at prices in the 6,000 to 7,000 won range.
A Lotteria GRS representative stated, "Based on consumer preference surveys using our app database, we are expanding the Ria Lunch lineup to provide greater benefits to customers visiting our stores during lunchtime," and added, "We will continue to introduce customized promotion strategies to offer a variety of benefits that reflect consumer needs."
