Participation of 17 Local Farms
Hyundai Wia announced on the 22nd that it held an agricultural marketplace called 'Eum Market' at its headquarters in Changwon Special City, Gyeongsangnam-do, on the 21st. The event was organized to promote agricultural products from local farms and to build trust between producers and consumers through direct transactions.

Seventeen farms from Changwon participated, showcasing high-quality agricultural products they cultivated themselves, such as Geumhyang melons, watermelons, and tomatoes, as well as a variety of foods made from agricultural products, including persimmon leaf tea, dried persimmons, and rice bagels.
Hyundai Wia recruited employee volunteers to support farms that were short-staffed, enabling them to work together with the employees. The company also provided agricultural product coupons to employees to encourage attendance and boost sales.
Various hands-on events were held to increase participation from employees and their families. These included activities such as making fruit mochi and brewing rice Makgeolli using local rice. Additionally, a bazaar was organized featuring crafts made by children at the company daycare center.
A Hyundai Wia representative stated, "We sincerely hope that Eum Market will become a new sales channel for local farms to promote their high-quality agricultural products," adding, "We will continue to seek out and implement social contribution activities that can make a meaningful difference in the local community."
