Cho Gabje: "The Opposite of Yoon Sukyeol is Sobriety... He Poured Cold Water"
"Early Voting in Seven Days, Will There Be an Abolition Campaign?"

Conservative commentator Cho Gabje, head of Cho Gabje Dotcom, sharply criticized former President Yoon Sukyeol for watching a film about election fraud conspiracy theories on the 21st, saying, "The opposite of Yoon Sukyeol is sobriety." Cho stated, "This bizarre act by the former president has completely poured cold water on Kim Moonsoo, the People Power Party presidential candidate. It clearly shows that when someone is influenced by conspiracy theories, they end up behaving irrationally."

On the morning of the same day, it became known that former President Yoon, along with former Korean history lecturer Jeon Hangil and PD Lee Youngdon, watched a film about election fraud conspiracy theories at Megabox Dongdaemun in Seoul. In response, Cho uploaded a video titled "Breaking News! Yoon Sukyeol Watches 'Election Fraud Conspiracy Theory' Film" to his YouTube channel, Cho Gabje TV, around noon. In the video, he said, "(This film) spreads absurd conspiracy theories that the results of major domestic elections, including the last general election, were manipulated," and added, "This is the first time former President Yoon has appeared at a public event, excluding court appearances, since he was removed from office on April 4 last month."

Cho continued, "The People Power Party is in the most awkward position, and the person most troubled by this is candidate Kim Moonsoo. Kim is an election fraud conspiracy theorist. Even in his acceptance speech as the People Power Party candidate, Kim said he would abolish early voting." Election fraud conspiracy theorists argue that early voting is heavily manipulated and even call for its abolition. Jeon Hangil held a one-man protest in front of the National Election Commission on April 18, demanding changes to early voting rules.

Cho also said, "Early voting will take place in eight days, on the 29th. Shouldn't Kim be running a campaign telling people not to vote early? But he's not saying that," and continued, "He probably intended to gloss over the issue, but now that former President Yoon has attended a screening of an election fraud conspiracy theory film, Kim has been cornered and can no longer avoid clarifying his stance."

He stated, "Yoon Sukyeol, Kim Moonsoo, and the People Power Party are now displaying the ridiculous spectacle of conspiracy theorists bringing about their own downfall. This is what self-destruction looks like." He added, "Calling Yoon Sukyeol an 'election fraud conspiracy theorist' is actually putting it mildly," and directly addressed the former president, saying, "As a joke, I say the opposite of Yoon Sukyeol is sobriety," criticizing Yoon for endorsing election fraud claims.

Within the People Power Party, reactions to former President Yoon's actions were mixed. On the same day, candidate Kim Moonsoo said, "It's not really my place to comment on someone watching a movie," and added, "Isn't it good to watch a lot of movies and meet a lot of people?" Kim also stated, "There are some points where the National Election Commission is under suspicion and there are disputes. I will work to eliminate any possibility of election fraud and ensure clean, transparent, and fair voting."

In contrast, former party leader Han Donghoon wrote on social media, "I urge candidate Kim to declare a clear break from election fraud conspiracy theories. If the People Power Party fails to draw a clear line against such conspiracy theories, the Democratic Party will vote for three days, and we will only vote for one day. In that case, we cannot win." He also pointed out, "Former President Yoon publicly watched an election fraud conspiracy theory film, but in fact, he himself always voted early."
