Seong Sangjin, mayor of Seongnam City, gave a special lecture on career paths under the theme "Passion and Challenge for Dreams and Future" at Bundang Jungang High School located in Jeongja-dong, Bundang-gu at 10:40 a.m. on the 21st.

This special lecture was organized at the request of Bundang Jungang High School and was attended by 473 first- and second-year students. Mayor Seong delivered a lecture on the qualities that future talents required by society should possess and emphasized the importance of setting career goals.
Mayor Seong stressed, "You must set goals in life and constantly challenge yourself to achieve them in order to find your path," adding, "I hope you will use this time to deeply reflect on your dreams and move forward responsibly to realize them."
After the lecture, he communicated with students through a Q&A session, directly answering questions they had been curious about.
In addition, Mayor Seong personally inspected the city-owned land where an inquiry center and dormitory are planned to be built in connection with the school's transition to a science high school.
On March 4, Bundang Jungang High School was officially designated and announced as a "special-purpose high school (science high school)" by the Ministry of Education. The school is scheduled to reopen as a science high school in March 2027.
Including this special lecture, Mayor Seong has continued to communicate with youth, having given career lectures to about 3,200 students at a total of nine schools, including Seongnam High School, Pangyo High School, and Naksaeng High School, from last year to the present.
