Mongolia is rapidly emerging as a trendy travel destination tailored for women. According to the '2025 Tourism Trends' announced by the Korea Tourism Organization, wellness and healing travel, as well as trips that pursue localism, have been highlighted as key travel trends to watch.
In response, Good Travel Co., Ltd. has newly launched the product '[Mama Mia!] Mongolia Trip for Women Seeking Their True Selves,' a healing trip designed exclusively for women.
This product has been renewed from the previously popular theme of emotional trips for middle-aged women, now reflecting the '2025 Tourism Trends' in a Mongolia travel package.
'Mama Mia! Mongolia Trip,' a small-group journey exclusively for women, will depart only three times: July 18, August 29, and September 12. The itinerary is designed to allow women to form camaraderie among themselves or to focus entirely on themselves, distinguishing it from general package tours.
The first trend, 'wellness and healing travel,' includes essential tours in Mongolia such as horseback riding on the steppe and light trekking. The second trend, 'travel pursuing localism,' offers opportunities to interact with locals by visiting an actual Mongolian nomad home, tasting traditional tea called Suutei Tsai, and sampling Aaruul, a Mongolian dessert.
Other programs include stargazing with an astronomy expert, lying on a mat on the steppe to enjoy the night sky, and tea time for participants to connect with each other. Special perks have been added, such as a full-body massage experience to relieve travel fatigue, wine served in the ger, and fresh fruit provided every morning.
One participant who joined the 'Mama Mia! Mongolia Trip' in 2024 shared, "It was a healing time, thanks to the encouragement and support from fellow mothers and women at different stages of life. Preparing for and embarking on this journey alone was a new challenge in my life, and this challenge made me truly happy."
