Mobilizing All Available Promotional Channels, Including Social Media and Banners
Ahead of the 21st presidential election, Gangseo District in Seoul has launched a large-scale campaign to encourage voter turnout. The district is actively promoting voter participation to ensure that residents can exercise their valuable right to vote. By utilizing official district social media channels with high accessibility, such as Naver Blog, Facebook, and YouTube, the district is focusing on informing residents about polling station locations and how to confirm them, early voting dates, and the overall election schedule.
On the 20th, two weeks before the 21st presidential election, a banner promoting voter participation was hung on the outer wall of the Gangseo District Office in Seoul. Below it, a digital signboard displayed voting information. Provided by Gangseo District.
The district is also actively promoting voting through various channels, including administrative phone call connection messages, the district newsletter, homepage banners, outdoor digital signboards, and LED electronic bulletin boards. Promotion using banners is being conducted in parallel. Banners encouraging voter participation have been posted on the outer wall of the district office and at 20 neighborhood community centers, with the aim of spreading a voting atmosphere throughout the entire district.
The district plans to provide residents with detailed information about all aspects of the current election schedule and to continue its voter turnout campaign until election day, so that as many residents as possible can participate in the vote.
Jin Kyohun, head of Gangseo District Office, stated, "Voting is a precious right and duty of the people," and added, "We are doing our utmost to ensure fair and transparent election management so that residents can vote with confidence. I hope everyone will come to the polling stations and cast their valuable vote."
