The Gwangju Office of Education will conduct "Visiting School Parent Education for Child Sex Education" for 922 parents of students from 32 schools until November. On the first day, the 20th, instructor Kim Hangshim emphasized to the parents at Gwangju Daeseong Elementary School that "Sex education is an activity that believes in the growth potential of students" through installation art. This program aims to provide proper sex education guidance for children going through puberty and to enhance parents' gender sensitivity. It will be carried out for 922 parents at 32 schools, with a team of professional instructors visiting each school to deliver the education directly.

The main topics include: ▲ gender sensitivity that parents should possess ▲ understanding the psychological and physical changes of children during puberty ▲ appropriate ways to answer sex-related questions ▲ sexual etiquette and roles within the family ▲ prevention of pornography, sexual violence, and sexual harassment.

Superintendent Lee Jungseon stated, "We will support the formation of correct sexual values through sex education that meets the needs of both students and parents," and added, "We will increase effectiveness and satisfaction with customized programs tailored to the characteristics and demands of each school."
