BNK Investment & Securities (CEO Shin Myungho) will introduce the 'Safety Mark' service based on RCS (Rich Communication Services), a next-generation text messaging system, starting May 12.

The RCS Safety Mark is a security feature that displays the official company logo and name next to the sender's name when customers receive text messages, allowing them to intuitively verify the authenticity of the message.
Recently, financial fraud caused by smishing, voice phishing, and illegal investment recommendation text messages impersonating institutions has been rapidly increasing. In response, BNK Investment & Securities has decided to implement the 'Safety Mark' to prevent customer damage and provide financial services based on trust.
Previously, only a simple phone number was displayed when receiving text messages, making it difficult to verify impersonation. However, starting May 12, the BNK Investment & Securities logo, company name, and Safety Mark will be displayed together on messages received by customers, enabling immediate identification of possible forgeries.
This service is available on smartphones equipped with RCS functionality (Samsung devices released after 2018), and support for iOS (iPhone) is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025.
Park Doohee, Chief Financial Consumer Protection Officer at BNK Investment & Securities, stated, "We are continuously introducing enhanced security measures to protect our customers' financial safety," and added, "We will continue to do our best to create a secure financial environment where customers can use our services with confidence."
