The city stated that bus operations during commuting hours on the affected section have been running normally, with no significant changes compared to before the suspension. In addition, the number of civil complaints has dropped significantly.

This measure was a strategic decision by the city to respond flexibly to changing traffic conditions and to minimize inconvenience for residents. After the temporary suspension, the city also implemented various proactive measures to prevent traffic congestion and bus delays.

To ensure smooth operation on major routes during the morning commute, Uijeongbu City deployed three additional chartered buses to the section. Furthermore, staff from traffic-related departments boarded buses during peak hours to inspect on-site conditions and directly check for any inconveniences experienced by citizens, demonstrating a field-oriented approach to administration.

According to on-site inspections, the most concerning issue?traffic congestion during commuting hours?did not occur. In particular, the average travel time from Mangadae Intersection to Dobongsan Station Metropolitan Transfer Center, which is the suspended section, was found to be between 13 and 16 minutes, maintaining a similar level to before the suspension.

Moreover, before the suspension, more than 50 complaints related to bus use had been filed. However, since the suspension, only one complaint has been received, indicating that complaints have virtually disappeared. The city attributes this result to the deployment of chartered buses, on-site responses, and continuous inspections, which proved effective as advance preparations.

Mayor Donggeun Kim of Uijeongbu stated, "We have combined the deployment of chartered buses with on-site inspections to minimize inconvenience for citizens," and added, "We will continue to actively respond to the changing traffic environment and realize citizen-centered traffic administration."

Meanwhile, the city plans to continuously analyze bus operation data and actual usage by citizens in the affected section and to take additional measures as necessary in the future.
