One-stop Administrative and Institutional Support for Expansion and New Construction of Manufacturing Facilities

On May 20, Icheon City, Gyeonggi Province, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Jaehyeonintex Co., Ltd. at the Daol Room of City Hall for new investment attraction.

This agreement stipulates that the city will provide administrative and institutional support to help ensure stable investment and settlement in the region for Jaehyeonintex, which is currently pursuing the expansion and construction of new manufacturing facilities in Joeup-ri, Baeksa-myeon, Icheon City.
Jaehyeonintex is a mid-sized manufacturing company established in 1983. It produces a variety of eco-friendly building materials, including plastic windows and doors.
In accordance with the agreement, the city plans to designate an 'Investment Attraction Cooperation Officer' to support the company's new investment. The Investment Attraction Cooperation Officer is a dedicated official who provides one-stop administrative services throughout the entire investment process.
Jae Min Ga, chairman of Jaehyeonintex, said, "With this agreement, I hope Icheon will establish itself as a hub for the sustainable eco-friendly manufacturing industry."
Kyung Hee Kim, mayor of Icheon City, stated, "Jaehyeonintex's investment is significant as it marks the first case of a company relocating to Icheon from another region. We will continue to do our utmost to revitalize the local economy and create quality jobs through practical attraction strategies based on proactive administration."
