On that day, the volunteers provided practical assistance to farming households whose livelihoods were threatened by the sudden disaster by installing pepper stakes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In particular, 20 volunteers from Boseong County, including members of the Namdo Sarang Volunteer Group (led by Lim Youngseo), the Boseong County Saemaeul Association, and the Youth Saemaeul Solidarity, participated to offer comfort to local farmers and bring renewed energy to the recovery site.
An official from the county said, "It was a meaningful time to share in the pain of our neighbors beyond our own region," adding, "We will continue to actively participate in sites that need help, such as disaster recovery efforts."
Meanwhile, Boseong County plans to further spread the culture of sharing warmth and strengthen its cooperation system with disaster volunteer organizations to promote solidarity and mutual growth between regions.
