Over 5,000 Applications Received for Special Supply of 'Dongtan Kkumui Sup Jayeon & Daesiyang,' Surpassing Seoul

Tae Young Construction and Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation (GH) are accepting first-priority applications today for 'Dongtan Kkumui Sup Jayeon & Daesiyang,' a price-capped apartment complex supplied through a public-private partnership public sale project. The complex is subject to the price ceiling system as it is a public sale.

According to Korea Real Estate Board's Cheongyak Home, Dongtan Kkumui Sup Jayeon & Daesiyang received a total of 5,085 applications during the special supply round held on Monday, May 19, recording an average competition rate of 5.8 to 1 and a maximum of 31.7 to 1 for the 84㎡A type/newlywed special supply, surprising many. This figure is higher than the special supply applications for Eunpyeong and Gocheok, which were held on the same day.

First-priority applications are accepted on the 20th, and second-priority applications on the 21st. Winners will be announced on the 29th, and the contract period will run for nine days from July 19 to July 27. For public sales, even if the competition rate is several hundred to one, second-priority applications are still accepted.

To be eligible for first-priority application, applicants must be members of a non-homeowner household residing in the Seoul metropolitan area and have a subscription savings account. However, applicants must not be subject to subscription restrictions (such as re-winning restrictions), and must meet the required subscription account enrollment and deposit period, as well as income and asset criteria for each supply type.

A real estate expert stated, "It is rare to see over 5,000 applications in the special supply round," and added, "For today's first-priority application, at least tens of thousands of applications are expected."

Dongtan Kkumui Sup Jayeon & Daesiyang boasts excellent residential conditions. Right in front of the complex are Sejeong Elementary and Middle Schools and a planned high school site, providing a one-stop educational environment. Residents can also walk to Dongtan Lake Park, the landmark of Dongtan 2 New Town. The complex is surrounded by Songbangcheon Park and Hwaseongsan Dullegil, ensuring a pleasant living environment.
