CRM Marketing Automation Solution 'Notifly' Secures Pre-Series A Funding

"Optimized for the Domestic Messaging Environment"

Graybox, the operator of the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) marketing automation solution 'Notifly', announced on May 20 that it has secured pre-Series A investment from Schmidt and Mashup Ventures.

Notifly is a CRM marketing automation solution that integrates various marketing channels such as app push notifications, Kakao Alimtalk, Kakao Friendtalk, pop-ups (in-app messages), email, and SMS. It collects customer behavioral data in real-time, automatically sends personalized messages, and analyzes marketing performance.

Last month, Notifly launched a user journey feature that enables users to easily execute marketing scenarios based on user behavior or attributes without any code development, in conjunction with Naver Shopping and Cafe24. It also offers integration with leading data analytics solutions such as Amplitude and Mixpanel.

Lee Minyong, CEO of Graybox, holds a Ph.D. in statistics from Stanford University, has gained global experience at Airbnb, and previously served as Head of Data at Banksalad. Lee noted the lack of domestic CRM marketing solutions in a market where customer retention and reactivation are becoming increasingly important. Currently, Notifly is being developed with development and product experts from major domestic IT companies such as Naver, Coupang, and Channel Corporation.

Within just one year and seven months of its launch, Notifly has been adopted by more than 80 companies, including SK Rent-a-Car, Class101, and Cashslide, surpassing a cumulative total of 200 million messages sent. In particular, its high compatibility with KakaoTalk channels?which have an overwhelmingly high usage rate in Korea?has resulted in a high level of client satisfaction.

Lee Minyong stated, "Following this investment, we plan to recruit additional key talent, including AI engineers and dedicated managers for close client support," adding, "This year, we will launch new features that further advance AI-based customer behavior data analysis to dramatically improve our clients' marketing efficiency and establish ourselves as the leading CRM messaging solution in Korea."

Lee Seungkuk, Growth Partner at Mashup Ventures, who participated in the investment, said, "Graybox is a team with the technology to reliably handle large-scale real-time messaging and user data," and added, "With sophisticated adaptation to domestic messaging channels and user environments, the solution enables easy adoption by companies, so significant growth is anticipated."
