HiteJinro Unveils New Package Design for "Chamisul Fresh" PET Bottles

Bottle Shape Redesigned with Curved Stripes Inspired by Bamboo Leaves
Renewal Applies to Chamisul 400ml, 500ml, 640ml, and 1.8L Products

HiteJinro announced on May 20 that it will launch a newly redesigned package for its "Chamisul Fresh" PET bottle products.

Through this renewal, HiteJinro has updated the bottle’s lines to a more modern and sophisticated shape. The design now features curved stripes inspired by bamboo leaves across the entire bottle, making the product’s characteristics more intuitively recognizable. The quality and alcohol content remain unchanged.


The renewal applies to a total of six products: Chamisul Fresh 400ml, 500ml, 640ml, and 1.8L, as well as Chamisul Original 640ml and 1.8L. Starting from the fourth week of May, the new design will first be applied to the 640ml and 1.8L products, with the 400ml and 500ml products to follow sequentially.


HiteJinro has been strengthening its efforts to enhance the eco-friendly aspects of its PET bottle products. In 2022, the company changed the labels to eco-friendly Eco Tabs for Chamisul Fresh, Chamisul Original, Jinro, and Damgeumju PET products to make recycling easier. In addition, in 2019, HiteJinro became the first soju brand to obtain Environmental Product Declaration certification, which quantifies environmental impact across the entire production process.


Oh Sungtaek, Executive Director of Marketing at HiteJinro, stated, "We have renewed the PET bottle design to a more sophisticated and refined form, reflecting changing consumer trends," and added, "As Korea’s No. 1 soju brand, we will continue to lead the market with a variety of marketing activities."
