Top Presidential Pledge: "Sea Baseball Stadium" Highlights Future Value of "Blanc Summit 74"

Busan North Port is once again drawing nationwide attention. The Dong-gu District Office of Busan has officially proposed the creation of a "Sea Baseball Stadium" as its top pledge for the upcoming presidential election, aiming to transform North Port into a new symbol of Busan as a marine tourism city.

On May 8, the Dong-gu District Office unveiled a total of seven key projects during the "21st Presidential Election Pledge Proposal Briefing," with the entire project portfolio amounting to approximately 11.1896 trillion won. Among these, the highest priority is the construction of a "Sea Baseball Stadium" with integrated cultural functions on the North Port landmark site.

The Dong-gu District Office stated, "Beyond a simple sports facility, a complex baseball stadium that combines performance venues and leisure facilities will become a new cultural asset to drive the future of North Port," adding, "We plan to promote the project as a public-private partnership model involving politicians, civic groups, and private companies."

Momentum for the project is rapidly building. Jeong Cheolwon, Chairman of Hyupsung General Construction, has pledged a donation of 200 billion won for the stadium's construction. Civic groups such as the Choi Dongwon Memorial Foundation and North Port Future Forum have also expressed their support. They emphasized, "The Sea Baseball Stadium can become a symbol of balanced regional development and Busan's leap toward becoming a global cultural city."

With public interest, symbolic value, and private sector participation all aligning, the "Sea Baseball Stadium" project is quickly emerging as a new turning point for the first phase of North Port redevelopment. If the project is reflected in future government policy and detailed implementation plans proceed, the North Port area is expected to accelerate its transformation into a global marine culture complex district.

As this major positive development becomes more tangible, consumer interest in "Blanc Summit 74," located in the heart of North Port, is also rising. This mixed-use complex features Daewoo E&C's high-end residential brand "Prugio Summit," with some remaining units currently available for sale.

Currently, most of the apartment units?except for some on the lower floors?have been sold, and the officetel units, thanks to their rarity and product appeal in medium-to-large sizes, continue to attract both end-users and investors.

The Blanc Summit 74 officetel units range from 84 to 118 square meters of exclusive area, with an average sale price of 26.5 million won per pyeong. A limited-time promotion is underway, offering contract payment support and special benefits worth up to 20 million won for buyers. In addition, high-end full options such as a bespoke refrigerator package, system air conditioning and ventilation, premium imported bathroom fixtures and faucets, and three built-in kitchen appliances are provided free of charge.

The officetel units feature ceiling heights of up to 2,600mm throughout, maximizing the sense of openness. Premium finishes include wide brushed hardwood floors and large European tiles, with specialized kitchens and bathrooms such as the Life-Up Kitchen and Bath. The design also offers practical and sophisticated living environments with features such as dress rooms, pantries, entrance storage, built-in closets in each bedroom, and hotel-style dry vanities in select units.

The location conditions are also excellent. The complex is within walking distance of Jwacheon Station and Beomil Station on Busan Metro Line 1, as well as Munhyeon Station on Line 2. From Jwacheon Station on Line 1, it is about three stops?or approximately five minutes?to Busan KTX Station. From Munhyeon Station on Line 2, it is only one stop to International Finance Center Station. The area is also close to Seomyeon, Busan's commercial and financial hub, offering abundant lifestyle infrastructure. Residents can conveniently access shopping facilities such as the newly renovated Connect Hyundai Busan (formerly Hyundai Department Store Busan), Lotte Department Store Busan Main Branch, Busanjin Market, and Nammun Market.

The North Port area, where Blanc Summit 74 is located, is the central axis of the North Port redevelopment project, which includes port reorganization, railway relocation, and old downtown linkage development. Major developments are planned, including an 88-story Marine Culture Complex Tower, a healthcare center with participation from Samsung Electronics and Qualcomm, and the relocation of the US Army's 55th Supply Depot, signaling the area's future as a global advanced complex district.

A Daewoo E&C sales representative stated, "With recent discussions on the Sea Baseball Stadium gaining momentum, expectations for development in the North Port area are rising," adding, "With its differentiated location, product, and future value, Blanc Summit 74 will establish itself as the landmark complex of North Port." The representative also noted, "If current sales trends continue, Blanc Summit 74 is expected to sell out within the first half of the year."

Meanwhile, the Blanc Summit 74 model home is located near Centum City Station in U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan.
