Gyeonggi-do and the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency are recruiting 180 participants for the 'Gyeonggi Startup Academy' education program until June 1.
The Gyeonggi Startup Academy is Gyeonggi-do's flagship educational program, aimed at fostering innovative entrepreneurs, revitalizing the local startup ecosystem, and nurturing global unicorn companies.
The entrepreneurship competency enhancement education is divided into three stages: Basic, Advanced, and Scale-up. Approximately 60 participants will be recruited for each stage.
The Basic course consists of foundational education for startup preparation, including the latest startup trends, discovering startup items, and business plan writing practice. The Advanced course provides practical education necessary for early-stage startups, such as marketing strategies, accounting, finance and tax management, and understanding fundraising. The Scale-up course offers advanced education essential for startup growth, including investment presentation (IR) pitching enhancement, organization, labor and talent management, and overseas expansion strategies.
Gyeonggi-do will offer various benefits to outstanding participants, such as customized business plan mentoring, IR pitching mentoring, and opportunities to participate in one-on-one investment consultation sessions.
