Icheon City to Hold "Policy Proposal Contest" Until June 1

Discovering Ideas to Overcome the Local Economic Crisis

Starting from May 19, 2025, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the "2025 First Half Icheon City Policy Proposal Contest" for two weeks, until June 1, 2025.

The contest is themed "Overcoming the Local Economic Crisis in Icheon City" and is seeking proposals in the following categories: revitalization of local consumption and commercial districts; job creation and strengthening of employment infrastructure; revitalization of corporate activity and investment attraction; improvement of living economy infrastructure; and other creative policies for the development of municipal administration.

Anyone interested in Icheon City administration is eligible to participate. Applicants can submit their proposals via email or by accessing the "2025 First Half Icheon City Policy Proposal Contest" section under "Idea Participation" - "Idea Collection" on the "Gukmin Saenggakham" website.

The city will select winners after a review by the relevant departments and an evaluation by the proposal review committee. The awards are as follows: Grand Prize - 1,000,000 KRW (1 winner); Excellence Prize - 500,000 KRW (2 winners); Encouragement Prize - 300,000 KRW (3 winners); and Effort Prize - 100,000 KRW (5 winners).
