Commemorative Plaques and Discount Benefits for First Customers... Test-Drive Event Also Held
HD Hyundai Infracore has delivered its next-generation excavator model to a domestic customer for the first time.
On May 19, HD Hyundai Infracore announced that it held a delivery ceremony for the first unit of the 24-ton class mid-size excavator, the Develon DX240, at its headquarters in Incheon. This equipment is one of the next-generation models that was first unveiled at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show in March.
The event was attended by Oh Seunghyun, President of HD Hyundai Infracore, Moon Jaeyoung, Head of the Construction Equipment Business Division, officials from the Korea Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association, and others. Commemorative plaques and gold business cards were presented to Lee Yongcheol, CEO of Cheonglim Environment, and Hwang Euibyeong, CEO of Hana General Heavy Equipment, who were the first buyers of the unit. The company also plans to offer promotional discounts and after-sales service programs to its first customers.
On the same day, HD Hyundai Infracore invited about 20 key customers from the Seoul metropolitan and Jeonbuk regions, as well as representatives from its domestic sales corporation, to a hands-on event for the new model. Participants test-drove the new excavator and experienced its key performance features and technological capabilities. President Oh stated, "With this first domestic delivery, we are seeing continued interest from overseas as well," adding, "We will strive to expand our presence in the global market and enhance our brand recognition."
Meanwhile, its affiliate HD Hyundai Construction Equipment is also scheduled to hold a delivery ceremony for the first unit of its next-generation excavator at the completion ceremony of the Ulsan Smart Factory on May 20.
