Local Media: "A Strategy to Focus on Taiwan"
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, announced that the location of Nvidia's new overseas headquarters will be "Taipei Xilin" in Taiwan. If Nvidia establishes a large-scale research and work facility there, it is expected that the company will also significantly increase its hiring of engineers and other personnel in Taiwan.

On the morning of the 19th, during a keynote speech at the Taipei Music Center in Taiwan, CEO Jensen Huang revealed the location of the new "Taiwan headquarters." Before he announced the name "Taipei Xilin," a video was played showing a massive, futuristic spaceship taking off and flying rapidly. The spaceship then breaks through the skies over Taiwan and lands on land; its propulsion system disappears, and the remaining structure transforms into Nvidia's new facility.
Nvidia's Taiwan headquarters is expected to be established as the largest facility outside of its main headquarters in Silicon Valley, United States. The plan to secure at least 1,000 employees demonstrates CEO Huang's commitment to making Taiwan a central hub for graphics processing unit (GPU) development.

Nvidia has recently been expanding its hiring of engineers and other talent. The company has posted thousands of job openings worldwide in recent months, with Taiwan ranking second after the United States in the number of positions available. Local media outlets such as Taiwan Economic Daily welcomed this move, noting that CEO Huang is placing significant emphasis on Taiwan.
