Kim Daesoon, Former Ansan Vice Mayor, Appointed as Gyeonggi Province Deputy Governor for Administrative Affairs

Kim Daesoon, former Vice Mayor of Ansan, has been appointed as the Deputy Governor for Administrative Affairs of Gyeonggi Province. In addition, Kim Wonmyung, former Secretary General of Gyeonggi Arts Center, has been appointed as the new Director of Public Relations Planning; Park Minje, former Head of Management Planning at Gyeonggi Arts Center, has been appointed as Director of Legal Affairs; and Kim Ilgon, former Head of Forest Policy Team, has been appointed as Director of the Forest Environment Research Institute.


On the 19th, Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dongyeon presented appointment letters to these four individuals at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office.


Deputy Governor for Administrative Affairs Kim Daesoon began his public service career by passing the 28th Technical Examination. He has served as Head of Water and Sewerage at the Paldang Water Quality Improvement Headquarters, Head of Urban Housing Convergence and Regeneration, Vice Mayor of Gwangju, Vice Mayor of Yangju, Head of Safety Management, and Vice Mayor of Ansan in Gyeonggi Province.

Director of Public Relations Planning Kim Wonmyung previously served as Senior Administrator (equivalent to Grade 2) in the Office of the Senior Secretary for Public Communication at the Presidential Secretariat. He also served as Secretary General of the Korea IPTV Broadcasting Association and, since 2023, as Secretary General of Gyeonggi Arts Center.


Director of Legal Affairs Park Minje served as Senior Administrator (equivalent to Grade 2) in the Office of the Senior Secretary for Anti-Corruption at the Presidential Secretariat, as Head of Legal Support at Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Development Corporation, and as Head of Management Planning at Gyeonggi Arts Center.


Director of the Forest Environment Research Institute Kim Ilgon was promoted to local technical officer after serving as Head of Mountain Management Team in the Forest and Greenery Division and as Head of the Forest Policy Team, and was appointed as the institute's director.
