Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency Recruiting Participants for First 'DFX Pictures' Program

The Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency announced that it is recruiting creators to participate in the first round of the 'DFX Pictures Program' until May 30.


DFX Pictures is a project that supports creators through various activities such as incubation and entrepreneurship, with the aim of discovering new and diverse video content.


Selected creators will receive up to 10 million KRW in creative activity funding, creative workspace, expert mentoring and consulting, as well as support for business commercialization.


A total of six creators will be selected, and they will be able to continue their creative activities in a stable environment by residing at the 'Daejeon Special Visual R&BD Center' until June next year.


Daejeon is establishing a convergence special visual content cluster based on large-scale video and film production infrastructure such as Studio Cube, as well as advanced technology development infrastructure in Daedeok Innopolis, including KAIST and ETRI.


Lee Eunhak, President of the Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, stated, "Through this support program, we will create an environment where emerging creators, who are the foundation of the future video industry, can grow stably," and added, "We will take the lead in building a sustainable video ecosystem so that Daejeon becomes synonymous with special visual content."
