Channel Corporation Launches Beta Service of In-House AI Assistant "Team Alp"

Efficiently Responding to Repetitive Employee Inquiries
"No Concerns About Data Leaks or AI Training"

Channel Corporation, the operator of Channel Talk, announced on the 19th that it has launched the beta service of its in-house AI assistant, "Team Alp." With this release, Channel Talk is expanding its scope as an AI business messenger by offering not only Customer Alp, which handles customer inquiries, but also Team Alp, an AI assistant designed to support corporate clients with internal tasks.

Team Alp is a generative AI agent based on the GPT and Gemini models. When an agent enters a work-related question into the Team Alp text input window, Team Alp either directly performs the requested task or instantly provides answers by searching for relevant information in the enterprise document management tool "Document," team messenger conversations, and web sources.

Previously, customers had to rely on external solutions for AI features required in their work. With the launch of Team Alp, a variety of AI convenience features?including drafting message templates, summarizing conversation content, quick research, spell checking, and translation?are now available directly within the Channel Talk admin interface, without the need to navigate to separate pages.

Notably, all conversations and attachments shared with Team Alp are designed not to be stored on external servers, allowing corporate clients to use the service securely without concerns about data leaks or AI training. This fundamentally prevents the risk of internal confidential documents being leaked when employees use external AI solutions.

In addition, the document management features have been enhanced so that departments beyond customer service, such as HR and general affairs, can actively utilize Team Alp. By organizing internal policies?such as those related to leave, business trips, and family events?within Document, companies can efficiently respond to recurring employee inquiries through Team Alp.

Choi Siwon, CEO of Channel Corporation, stated, "If AI features are integrated into Channel Talk, which already brings together various information such as customer and team messenger communications, it can serve as a powerful business assistant within the company. We will continue to focus on enhancing features so that our AI tools not only improve agent efficiency but also drive productivity across all areas of business operations."

Meanwhile, Channel Corporation officially launched "Customer Alp" in November last year. Customer Alp is an AI agent service that understands the context of conversations with customers using natural language and autonomously finds the information needed for customer support. Since its launch, more than 1,400 companies in industries such as fashion, beauty, and F&B have adopted the service to actively handle simple and repetitive inquiries.
