SGI Dream Partners was launched in 2016. From its inception through last year, a cumulative total of 2,219 people participated, recording a total of 11,400 volunteer hours. This year's 9th cohort consists of 40 volunteers, ranging from entry-level employees to department heads, who have voluntarily come together and are actively leading volunteer activities.

In the environmental sector, the group participated in an urban forest creation project aimed at reducing carbon emissions.

On April 26, SGI Dream Partners, together with the university student climate change supporters group "SGI Youth Plus," created the "Forest of Life Garden" at Boramae Park in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, and planted about 80 fir trees at the park entrance.

In the local community sector, the group is contributing to the spread of community spirit through volunteer activities closely connected to the region. They delivered bread they baked themselves to socially vulnerable groups and participated in both group and individual blood donations, helping to foster coexistence and warmth with local neighbors.

Last month, employees who participated in the first half promotion training assembled six bicycles and delivered them to local children's centers in Sokcho, Gangwon Province, where SGI Seoul Guarantee's training center is located.

Regional headquarters across the country are also practicing customized support for neighbors in welfare blind spots, spreading SGI Seoul Guarantee's spirit of warmth nationwide.

Meanwhile, SGI Seoul Guarantee is actively expanding non-face-to-face social contribution activities so that more employees can practice social values in their daily lives. On March 21, through the "Lighting Children Volunteer Activity," employees assembled solar lanterns and gifted them to children in energy-poor countries, delivering the light of hope.

The company is also conducting social contribution activities that link eco-friendly actions employees can practice daily?such as walking, using stairs or bicycles, and using mugs or tumblers?with point accumulation and donations. Through these efforts, the volunteer group is encouraged to spread environmental, social, and governance (ESG) values.

Lee Myungsoon, CEO of SGI Seoul Guarantee, said, "We will take the lead in spreading the core values of SGI Seoul Guarantee's social contribution activities?growth for future generations, sharing together, and partnership for mutual growth?centered on the employee volunteer group SGI Dream Partners."
