Business Agreement Ceremony Held at Busan Bank Headquarters on the Afternoon of the 16th
Financial Support for Startups in Collaboration with Busan Regional SMEs Administration and Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center
BNK Busan Bank (President Sungbin Bang) signed a business agreement on the afternoon of May 16, 2025, at the Busan Bank headquarters with the Busan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center, Busan National University Startup Support Group, and Dong-A University Startup Support Group for a "Hopeful Partnership in Regional Startups and Finance."

The signing ceremony was attended by Sungbin Bang, President of Busan Bank; Ki Sung Kang, Commissioner of Busan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration; Yong Woo Kim, Director of Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center; Jung Eun Kang, Director of Busan National University Startup Support Group; and Hak Sung Lee, Director of Dong-A University Startup Support Group, among other officials.
This agreement aims to support the growth of technology-based startups in the region and to establish a sustainable startup ecosystem. The focus is on building a financial support system that connects the expertise and infrastructure of each organization, covering all stages from pre-startup to public listing.
Under the agreement, Busan Bank will provide business accounts (MMDA) for startups, offer preferential interest rates on guaranteed loans, support investment attraction and IPOs through BNK Venture Investment and BNK Investment & Securities, and provide financial education programs.
The Busan Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration will notify and promote the program to its affiliated guarantee institutions, while the Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center, Busan National University, and Dong-A University will be responsible for guiding and consulting startups regarding the program.
Busan Bank is making various efforts to grow together with startups, such as the B-Startup Challenge (startup investment competition) and the Some Incubator (startup nurturing platform). In cooperation with guarantee institutions, the bank is also providing continuous funding to promising startups.
Additionally, to foster the local startup ecosystem, Busan Bank has contributed to the BNK Future Innovation Growth Fund and the Busan Future Growth Venture Fund, helping to prevent the outflow of local startups to other regions.
