Private School Teachers Pension Ranks First in Board of Audit and Inspection's Self-Audit Evaluation, Selected as Top Institution

Ranked First Overall Among 42 Institutions
Received Top 'A' Grade for Two Consecutive Years

The Private School Teachers Pension has been selected as the top institution in the self-audit activity evaluation conducted by the Board of Audit and Inspection.

On May 16, the Private School Teachers Pension announced that it had achieved this result in the evaluation based on last year's performance, as conducted by the Board of Audit and Inspection. Among the 42 institutions evaluated, it ranked first overall and received the highest grade of 'A' for the second consecutive year.

The Board of Audit and Inspection's self-audit activity evaluation, in accordance with the Public Audit Act, assesses the self-audit activities and internal control levels of 720 institutions, including central administrative agencies, local governments, and public organizations, assigning grades from A to D. The evaluation criteria consist of three areas: the institution's interest and commitment to supporting its internal audit organization (50%), the composition and staffing level of the internal audit organization (20%), and the performance of self-audit activities (30%).

The Private School Teachers Pension designated a dedicated department for internal control in line with the revised evaluation indicators of the Board of Audit and Inspection, and commissioned an external assessment of its internal control system based on international standards to enhance internal controls. It also participated in a joint workshop of the audit organizations of the four major pension funds to strengthen the competencies of its auditors, thereby being recognized for outstanding performance across all evaluation indicators.

Han Mingyu, Standing Auditor of the Private School Teachers Pension, stated, "We will continue to do our utmost to ensure that audit activities focused on prevention can be sustained by enhancing the robustness of our internal control system and strengthening the capabilities of our self-audit activities."
