Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation and Jeju Credit Guarantee Foundation Exchange 'Hometown Love Donations'

On May 16, the Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation held a 'Hometown Love Donation Mutual Contribution Ceremony' at Baekrok Hall in the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Office, together with the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and the Jeju Credit Guarantee Foundation.


This event was organized to promote mutual cooperation between the two regions and to spread a culture of giving.


The ceremony was attended by Jin Myeonggi, Vice Governor for Administrative Affairs of Jeju Province; Cho Sohaeng, Chairman of Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation; Kim Jinhyuk, Head of Management Division; Kim Daehyun, Head of Human Resources; Lee Jihoon, Chairman of the Labor Union; and Kim Gwangseo, Chairman of Jeju Credit Guarantee Foundation, among others.


This mutual donation initiative was carried out in anticipation of the '2025~2026 Chungnam Visit Year.' The two foundations exchanged hometown love donations to support regional development and to create cross-promotional effects for their respective areas.


Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation donated 6 million won to Jeju Province, while Jeju Credit Guarantee Foundation donated 3.6 million won to Chungnam Province. All donations were made through the voluntary participation of employees from both foundations.


Cho Sohaeng, Chairman of Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, stated, "'The 2025~2026 Chungnam Visit Year' is an important opportunity to revitalize tourism and the local economy in Chungnam Province," adding, "I hope that this donation ceremony with Jeju will help promote the value of Chungnam and attract nationwide attention."


He continued, "As a public institution, we will continue to expand exchanges with other regions for the benefit of our residents and the local community."


Meanwhile, Chungnam Province is implementing various strategies to attract domestic and international tourists and to boost the local economy in celebration of the '2025~2026 Chungnam Visit Year.'


The province is running the 'Chungnam of the Month' program, which focuses on promoting specific cities and counties each month, introducing unique local tourism resources and festivals. Additionally, Chungnam is actively working to attract tourists from the capital region through large-scale promotional events such as the 'WOW Festival' held at Gwanghwamun in Seoul.
