Applications Accepted Until May 30
Woori Financial Group's Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation announced on May 16 that it is recruiting organizations to participate in the "2025 Woori Art School," an art education program for children from multicultural families.
"Woori Art School" is a program that offers participatory art classes using themes and teaching materials tailored to children's perspectives, as well as a variety of materials. Since 2022, the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation has been supporting this program to help improve the art skills and language abilities of children from multicultural and low-income families.
This year, a total of 30 organizations will be selected. Professional instructors specializing in children's art education will be dispatched, and each organization will conduct a regular art education program consisting of six sessions. All teaching materials and supplies required for the classes will be fully provided by the foundation.
Eligible applicants include educational and welfare institutions located in the Seoul metropolitan area, such as multicultural family centers, welfare centers, local children's centers, schools, and education welfare offices. Applications can be submitted through the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation website until May 30.
A representative from the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation stated, "We hope that children from multicultural and low-income families will have the opportunity to learn and grow through a variety of art activities," adding, "We will actively support the program so that it can also help enhance children's creativity and social skills."
