On-site Filing Desk for "Moduchaeeum Notice" Recipients Operated Until June 2
Jangseong County in Jeonnam announced on May 16, 2025, that it will be accepting filings and payments for individual local income tax (comprehensive income) from residents who generated comprehensive income in 2024, until June 2.
To file, residents should first report their comprehensive income tax on the National Tax Service's Hometax website or the mobile app 'Sontax.' After completing this step, they can select 'Move to Individual Local Income Tax Filing' and file their local income tax separately on Wetax.
Taxpayers who received the 'Moduchaeeum Notice' from the National Tax Service can pay their local income tax using the virtual account listed in the notice, and the payment will be recognized as a filing without the need for a separate submission.
To enhance taxpayer convenience, the county plans to operate an on-site filing desk for recipients of the 'Moduchaeeum Notice' on the second floor of the Jangseong-eup Administrative Welfare Center from May 26 to May 30, between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.
Meanwhile, taxpayers who require a compliance verification through a tax agent must complete both filing and payment by June 30. For more details, residents can contact the National Tax Service call center or the dedicated individual local income tax call center.
