Venture Business Association Supports Korean Startups as Official Ambassador
The Venture Business Association announced on May 16 that it supported the participation of Korean startups in "Sushitech Tokyo 2025," which was held at Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Center in Japan from May 8 to May 10.
Sushitech Tokyo is the largest startup conference event in Asia, and as the official Korean ambassador, the association was authorized to recommend participating companies and provide business matching opportunities.

This year’s event featured participation from over 500 global startups and hosted more than 5,000 business meetings, along with a variety of programs for open innovation.
The association provided exhibition booth support and opportunities to participate in the startup pitching contest to eight companies: Underdogs, Etai Electronics, Exist, Oysterable, Nosenosoe, Davida, Maninblock, and Mooker. Through these efforts, the association facilitated private matching and networking sessions with Japanese conglomerates and venture capital (VC) firms, supporting the startups’ entry into the Japanese market.
Oysterable, a circular economy solutions company integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Japanese eco-friendly company Fils for joint sales and market entry in Japan. Maninblock established a joint research collaboration with Japanese medical institutions with its specialized solution for diagnosing sleep disorders.
A representative from the association stated, "Participation in Sushitech Tokyo 2025 has not only provided exhibition opportunities, but also established a bridgehead for domestic startups to successfully enter the Japanese market. We will continue to provide unwavering support so that domestic companies can remain competitive on the global stage."
