ID Required for All-in-One Filers Such as Small Business Owners When Visiting
Mapo District (District Mayor Park Kangsoo) has set up an "Integrated Filing Window" on the 11th floor of Mapo District Office, allowing all-in-one filers such as small business owners to file both comprehensive income tax and local personal income tax at once. This service will be available until June 2, the end of the filing and payment period.
The integrated filing window is designed to reduce the inconvenience of having to file comprehensive income tax with the tax office and local personal income tax with the local government separately, by providing a single place to file both taxes together.
The operating hours of the integrated filing window are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. Visitors must bring a valid ID.
Notification letters were sent in advance to all-in-one filers via mobile or mail.
If there are no changes to the local personal income tax, payment can be made to the virtual account specified in the notification letter, and the filing will be considered complete. However, it is important to note that the comprehensive income tax must still be filed separately.
Taxpayers who wish to file electronically can file their comprehensive income tax through the National Tax Service's Hometax website or the mobile app Sontax. Afterward, by clicking the "Move to Local Income Tax Filing" button, they will be redirected to the Wetax site to file their local personal income tax.
This year, the payment deadline will be automatically extended by three months for exporters facing economic difficulties, victims and bereaved families of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident, and taxpayers located in special disaster areas.
Taxpayers who receive an automatic extension for comprehensive income tax payment will also have their local personal income tax payment deadline extended automatically, with the new deadline being September 1. However, only the payment deadline is extended, so the filing must still be completed by June 2.
