In their statement of support, they said, "Lee Jae Myung is the only candidate who can overcome the national crisis, achieve national unity, and build a better Republic of Korea." They also stated, "This presidential election is not simply about choosing the next president of Korea. They emphasized, "As history has proven, we have united as a nation-protecting Buddhism to overcome national crises. Even amid the hardships and adversity of the present, we earnestly hope that the aspiration of Maitreya faith to open a better future will be realized in this presidential election."

They further stated, "We have no doubt that candidate Lee Jae Myung will realize the aspiration of Maitreya faith by practicing politics of altruism and compassion, overcoming this unprecedented national crisis, and opening the future of Korea through true national unity."
