According to the county on the 15th, Governor Choi took the lead as the first participant in the campaign the previous day. He released a photo of himself holding a placard with the message, "A single vote from the people is the beginning of a dignified choice," and called on residents to actively participate in voting.
He went on to say, "Voting is the first step toward building a better Republic of Korea," and added, "Each and every resident’s precious vote shapes the future of our country. Let us all participate in voting without exception and create a better tomorrow together."
This campaign, initiated on Governor Choi’s suggestion, is a relay campaign involving heads of local institutions and social organizations. Each head delivers a message encouraging voter participation and nominates the next participant to continue the campaign.
Governor Choi nominated Choi Hanjoo, Chairman of the Jangsu County Council, and Kim Seongsu, Head of the Jangsu branch of NH Nonghyup Bank, as the next participants.
Jangsu County plans to actively provide voting information and boost voter participation among residents through various promotional activities, including posting promotional banners, using LED electronic displays, broadcasting village announcements via social media, and other outreach efforts.
