Approximately 650 students with artistic talent, selected from 67 middle and high schools in the Jeonnam region, will participate in this practical competition. They will compete fiercely in four categories: Korean painting, Western painting, design and animation, and sculpture. To support the transportation of participating students, the provincial office will operate 18 chartered buses, and it plans to ensure smooth competition management as well as support for schools on-site.

Outstanding works will be awarded the Jeonnam Superintendent of Education Award. Starting this year, the "President of the Jeonnam Secondary Art Education Research Association Award" has also been newly established, further expanding opportunities for recognition. Excellent works will be displayed from September to December at the "Exhibition Visiting Schools" and in student exchange exhibitions, and will also be included in the "2025 Jeonnam Middle School Students Art Practical Competition Award Collection."

An official from the provincial office stated, "We hope this competition will provide students with an opportunity to realize their artistic dreams and talents," adding, "It will be a meaningful festival that opens up new possibilities for school art education."
