Pukyong National University (President Bae Sanghoon) and Dongguk CM (CEO Park Sanghoon) signed a mutual cooperation agreement on May 14 in the reception room on the third floor of the university headquarters at Pukyong National University.

Through this agreement, Pukyong National University and Dongguk CM will establish a close cooperative system aimed at advancing the steel industry, promoting balanced regional development, and fostering outstanding future talent.

Dongguk CM, which originated from the Dongkuk Steel Group, ranked 315th in domestic sales last year, newly entering the top 500 companies by sales in Korea, and is recognized as a leading company in the cold-rolled steel sector. The company operates a technology research center and a plant in Busan, contributing to the development of the local industry.

Pukyong National University fosters outstanding engineering students through its large-scale College of Engineering and is transforming the Yongdang Campus into "Dragon Valley," a hub for hundreds of companies, through Busan's only Campus Innovation Park project. The university expects this agreement to lay the foundation for regional development through locally integrated cooperation among government, industry, academia, and research institutes.

Under this agreement, the two institutions will cooperate in the following areas: mutual exchange and cooperation of human and material resources; mutual support for various collaborative projects aimed at regional community development; support for education and research, and joint development of curricula to foster future talent and professionals; and academic information exchange and hosting of academic conferences to broaden the base of the regional industry.
