Anyone Can Participate Until October 17
Ulsan City will hold the '2025 U-Jam Video Contest in Ulsan' until October 17, 2025.
The U-Jam Video Contest is held annually to promote Ulsan's diverse attractions to the public and to revitalize tourism and publicity.
Anyone interested in video production can participate either individually or as a team of up to four people. There are no restrictions on the subject matter, as long as the content broadly promotes Ulsan.
To enter, participants must create an original video between 30 seconds and 3 minutes in length and submit the video along with the required documents via email between October 1 and October 17.
Application forms and other documents can be downloaded from the Ulsan City website under City News and Notices.
Ulsan City will select a total of 10 works through a review process conducted by experts and other judges.
The following awards will be given: Grand Prize to 1 person (3 million KRW), Excellence Award to 2 people (1.5 million KRW each), Merit Award to 3 people (1 million KRW each), and Encouragement Award to 4 people (500,000 KRW each). In total, 11 million KRW in prize money and the Ulsan Mayor's Award will be presented.
The results of the judging will be announced on the Ulsan City website in November, and winners will also be notified individually.
The winning works will be used for city promotion through Ulsan City's official YouTube channel, Whale TV, and other official social media platforms.
An official from Ulsan City stated, "Ulsan is a city with countless 'U-Jam' elements that have yet to be discovered. We believe that the brilliant ideas and high-level video production skills of our citizens will greatly contribute to making Ulsan an attractive content hub," adding, "We ask for the active participation and interest of many creators."
In last year's contest, five works were selected for awards, including the Excellence Award for 'With u' and the Merit Award for 'Ulsan Records.'
