Chinese-style Mixed Noodles
135 kcal and 1,500 mg of Dietary Fiber
Nongshim announced on May 15 that it will launch a new product, "Noodle Fit Maratan-tan," under its cup noodle brand "Noodle Fit," on May 19.
Noodle Fit Maratan-tan is a Chinese-style mixed noodle dish that combines the numbing spiciness of mala with the savory and umami flavors of tantanmen through a peanut sauce. Compared to the soup-type Noodle Fit, it uses glass noodles that are about four times wider, allowing the sauce to mix better with the noodles and enhancing the chewy texture. The product maintains the core features of Noodle Fit: low calories (135 kcal) and dietary fiber (1,500 mg) to support diet management.
A Nongshim representative said, "Noodle Fit Maratan-tan is a trendy product that delivers the numbing and savory flavors favored by the 1020 generation, all with low calories," adding, "We will continue to introduce a variety of Noodle Fit products in different flavors and formats."
Meanwhile, Nongshim Noodle Fit is available in both soup-type (Yukgaejang Bowl Noodle flavor, Kimchi Bowl Noodle flavor, Fried Udon flavor) and mixed-type (Jjapaguri flavor, Kaguri flavor, Maratan-tan) varieties. The soup-type products recreate the familiar flavors of Nongshim's steady-seller ramyeon with lower calories, while the mixed-type products reflect the preferences of younger consumers through modisumer recipes and fusion menu concepts.
