Korea Industrial Complex Corporation to Accept Budget Project Ideas Year-Round

All Fields Related to Major Projects Eligible
Outstanding Proposers to Receive 300,000 Won Onnuri Gift Certificate

Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on May 14 that it will accept proposals for the 2025 National Participation Budget continuously throughout the year starting in May, in order to promote the sustainable development of industrial complexes and field-oriented budget management.


The National Participation Budget is a system that allows citizens to propose budget projects during the budget planning process of the government or public institutions.

Eligible proposal areas include all fields related to the main projects of Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, such as the digital and carbon-neutral transition of industrial complexes, improvement of residential conditions in aging industrial complexes, and strengthening of safety management. Any interested citizen can participate.


However, proposals related to matters exclusive to the state or local governments, simple civil complaints, projects already being implemented, or support projects for specific individuals or organizations are excluded.


Submitted ideas will be reviewed quarterly, and if a proposal is selected and commercialized, the proposer will be recognized as an outstanding contributor. Outstanding contributors will receive a 300,000 won Onnuri gift certificate.


Since 2019, Korea Industrial Complex Corporation has been operating the National Participation Budget system and has supported tenant companies in industrial complexes by allocating budgets to eight projects, including the provision of fire extinguishers to tenants and safety design planning.
