Successive Declarations of Support
from Private Kindergartens, Medical, and Sports Sectors
Declarations of support for Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jaemyung from organizations in the Gwangju region have been continuing daily. On the 14th alone, six organizations publicly announced their support, and three to four additional declarations are expected each day going forward.

According to the Gwangju Election Countermeasures Committee of the Democratic Party on the 14th, the organizations that participated in the declarations of support on this day were: the Gwangju-Jeonnam Professors Solidarity, the Gwangju Branch of the Korea Private Kindergarten Association, the Five District Council of the Democratic Committee, the Korea Caregivers Association, the Gwangju Branch of the Korea Physical Therapists Association, and the Gwangju Futsal Federation.
The Gwangju-Jeonnam Professors Solidarity stated, "Candidate Lee Jaemyung possesses a warm inclusiveness toward the socially vulnerable and has demonstrated his ability to govern with a 96% pledge fulfillment rate," adding, "We will spare no effort in providing all possible support, including policy proposals."
The Gwangju Branch of the Korea Private Kindergarten Association announced, "We officially support candidate Lee Jaemyung, hoping for fair integration in early childhood education, balanced financial support, and the guarantee of teachers' professionalism."
The Five District Council of the Democratic Committee emphasized, "Candidate Lee Jaemyung is the right person to create a true Republic of Korea where all citizens enjoy equal rights, standing against minority privileges and vested interests."
The Caregivers Association argued, "The only person who can restore the collapsing medical system and strengthen public healthcare infrastructure to save the country in a time of crisis is candidate Lee Jaemyung." The Gwangju Branch of the Physical Therapists Association also declared its support, saying, "Lee Jaemyung is the one who can build a healthy Republic of Korea through a national responsibility system for essential medical care and patient-centered reforms."
The Futsal Federation stated, "We strongly support candidate Lee Jaemyung as a reform leader equipped with a people-centered philosophy, future strategy, and integrative leadership."
The Gwangju Election Countermeasures Committee of the Democratic Party commented, "Voices from various fields are coming together," and added, "Expectations for candidate Lee Jaemyung's policies and the spread of trust in him are now in full swing."
