The Changwon Special City Council in Gyeongnam has unanimously pleaded for the NC Dinos team to return to Changwon.
On the morning of the 12th, council members temporarily suspended their meeting during the session and held a press conference in front of the council building. There, they presented an appeal for the team's return in the form of an acrostic poem titled "Dinos Come Back Home."

They said, "We look forward to meeting again in our hometown of Changwon. The NC Dinos have been a source of joy for citizens and the center of our local community."
They added, "Now, a decision from the team is needed," and stated, "Since the unfortunate accident in March, the temporary suspension of home games and the use of a temporary stadium in another region have left local fans and citizens deeply distressed."
They continued, "With effort and trust, NC and Changwon City have built a shared history since 2010. We cannot let all those years be undone in an instant," and expressed, "We sincerely hope that this precious relationship will be restored."
They also said, "As we look at the stadium, where only a chilly wind blows, we are silently waiting. The space once filled with cheers is now silent, but even that silence is filled with longing for NC."
They further commented, "The darkened baseball stadium has extinguished even the hope for mutual prosperity in the surrounding businesses. With the cheers gone and the streets less lively, we are realizing more than ever that baseball means more than just a sport."
The city council stated, "What matters more than a hundred words is taking action now," and promised, "The Changwon City Council will make every effort and pay close attention to ensuring the safety of NC Park and reopening it as soon as possible."
They also said, "We hope everyone will once again reflect on the meaning contained in the word 'home stadium.' Even if there have been times of disappointment or distance, ultimately, the place to return to is home, and this is NC's home ground."
The council concluded, "We earnestly await the day we meet again in Changwon," and said, "We hope the NC Dinos team will return soon."
