The Dreamsanism Committee (co-chaired by Lee Gaeho and Song Okju) under the Democratic Party of Korea's 'Real Republic of Korea' Presidential Campaign Committee held its inaugural meeting at the National Assembly on the afternoon of the 12th and began full-scale activities.
The Dreamsanism Committee will serve as a control tower, aiming to foster new engines of growth for Korea by nurturing future core industries such as AI, K-content, and Arctic shipping routes. At the same time, it will work toward social integration, designing and realizing a future where all citizens can have hope. As part of the Democratic Party's campaign committee, it oversees more than 10 individual subcommittees.
More than 30 internal and external committee members attended the inaugural meeting, including co-chairs Lee Gaeho and Song Okju, as well as representatives from the Information and Communications Committee, Broadcasting Content Committee, and National Party Promotion Committee.
During the meeting, Chair Lee Gaeho expressed gratitude to everyone who supported the launch of the Dreamsanism Committee, emphasizing, "The foundation of the Democratic Party's campaign is 'listening.' We must conduct field-oriented campaigns with a disciplined attitude and approach."
Chair Lee also urged, "Going forward, I hope the Dreamsanism Committee and each subcommittee will do their utmost to listen to the difficulties experienced on the ground and to ensure that the Democratic Party becomes a party that builds a 'Real Republic of Korea' through field-centered campaigning."
