Dentis, a company specializing in implant-based dental and medical solutions, announced on May 14 that it has officially launched its local subsidiary in Vietnam, accelerating its efforts to enter the Southeast Asian market.
Dentis has completed all administrative procedures and local certifications required to establish a subsidiary in Ho Chi Minh City, southern Vietnam, and will now actively target the local market with a focus on implants and digital dentistry solutions. This launch goes beyond simple product exports; Dentis aims to position Vietnam as a strategic foothold for the Southeast Asian market and as a regional hub for the supply of dental equipment and clear aligners.
Vietnam is attracting attention as a key hub for medical device trade among ASEAN countries, due to its high logistics accessibility, strong domestic growth potential, FTA networks, increasing demand for medical tourism, and benefits from the China+1 strategy. Recognizing Vietnam’s geographic importance, Dentis plans to expand its directly managed stores in major Vietnamese cities such as Hanoi and Da Nang, with the local subsidiary as the starting point. In addition to implants, Dentis will supply its differentiated dental devices?such as implant mobility testers and painless anesthesia devices?across Vietnam, and plans to launch dental unit chairs and surgical lights locally within the year, thereby providing its entire portfolio of solutions nationwide.
To further increase its market share in Vietnam, Dentis will strengthen its implant sales capabilities by establishing more than two training courses per month and expanding its local academic programs and educational infrastructure.
Beyond Vietnam, Dentis is also accelerating the expansion of its overseas subsidiaries by pursuing procedures to establish new entities in key markets such as Thailand, Japan, and Poland. The company intends to focus on establishing major regional bases to strengthen its brand presence and increase market share in the rapidly growing global dental market.
Dentis is already achieving results in each overseas market. The company is engaged in detailed discussions to supply its dental unit chairs to the Taiwanese market and is smoothly progressing with the CE MDR (European medical device certification) process for its core dental equipment, including unit chairs, implant stability testers, and painless anesthesia devices. Once certification is completed in the second half of the year, Dentis plans to focus on expanding into the European market and achieving performance growth.
