Gyeonggi Province Holds One-on-One Export Consultations Between 85 SMEs and Buyers from Three Southeast Asian Countries

Gyeonggi Province announced on May 14 that it had signed two business agreements through export consultations between local small and medium-sized enterprises and buyers from three Southeast Asian countries.


On May 13, Gyeonggi Province held the "2025 Global Bridge Market Expansion Support Export Consultation Meeting" at the Novotel Champagne Hall in Suwon, where one-on-one export consultations took place between local SMEs and overseas buyers from three Southeast Asian countries.


The consultation meeting was attended by 85 small and medium-sized enterprises in the K-beauty sector, including cosmetics, beauty devices, hair products, and inner beauty, as well as 32 buyers from three countries: Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore.

At the meeting, Jenacell Co., Ltd., a women's care product manufacturer based in Ansan, signed a mutual cooperation business agreement with Vietnamese buyer VINKOR GROUP for entry into the Vietnamese market.


Based on the results of this consultation meeting, Gyeonggi Province plans to select about 10 outstanding companies and support their direct visits and consultations with buyers in Southeast Asia in September.


Park Kyungseo, Director of International Trade at Gyeonggi Province, said, "K-beauty is a representative export item that showcases the strengths of SMEs in Gyeonggi Province, and this consultation meeting once again confirmed our global competitiveness. We will continue to provide full support to facilitate consultations between local companies and buyers from various countries, thereby expanding overseas market entry."


Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, 38.8% of all cosmetics manufacturers nationwide are located in Gyeonggi Province.
