This event matches the infrastructure of 16 major and mid-sized companies in Korea with innovative technologies developed by startups, providing support for technology verification and commercialization funding. Last year, Semes discovered and supported startups in the robotics and measurement sectors through the first edition of the event. This year, Semes plans to collaborate with selected startups to conduct technology verification. The Chungnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation provides commercialization funds needed for research and development, prototype production, and intellectual property application and registration.

The technology recruitment areas for which Semes is seeking applications include static control materials related to semiconductors/displays, chillers/heaters, pumps/filters, automation solutions, and measuring instruments. Choi Gilhyeon, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Semes, stated, "We are currently reviewing technology verification and collaboration opportunities with promising domestic companies in the fields of measurement solutions, robot control technology, and AI-based predictive maintenance," adding, "We will take the lead in win-win cooperation for mutual growth by working with the final selected startups on technology development, production management, and the transfer of quality systems."
